Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Log in to Touchstone

Users and groups must be set up in EPM Security Administrator and assigned to a named license before they can log in to Touchstone.

You can log using basic authentication or windows authentication. Basic authentication requires a user name and password. For Windows authentication, you do not enter a user name and password; you select the Windows Authentication box on the Login screen and click Login.

All login attempts are logged to the audit log when auditing is enabled in EPM Security Administrator.

Field Description
User ID Enter your user ID that was assigned in EPM Security Administrator.
Password Enter your Touchstone password.
Data Source If more than one Touchstone data source exists, select the data source to which you want to connect.
Windows Authentication Select if you want to use windows authentication to log in instead of entering a user name and password.
